Google Skype, install it on your computer or phone and call the hangar to watch activity. You don’t need a camera or micophone to just make a Skype call to the hangar, it autoanswers so you can see if anyone it there. No microphone at the hangar so we couldn’t answer but you can watch OK. Once you have a skype account just search on ” GMWRC” to find us.

Have you ever wanted to come out to the Hangar but didn’t know if anyone would be there when you arrived?
We have now set up a Skype free phone account. If you have a Skype account, from your computer you can make a Skype call to GMWRC LsngD5 and up will pop a live video of the Hangar Classroom. Watch and see who is there and give them a call, to see if they are going to be around for you to come out and join the fun.
Don’t have a Skype account, just create one. You won’t need any camera, or head phone or microphone. If you don’t have a head phone or microphone you won’t be able to talk to anyone, but who cares. Just watch and see who to call, we all carry cell phones.
We are still struggling with our WiFi internet connectivity, sometimes it’s out and then Skype won’t work.

Ultralight Place
The Ultralight Place at Greater Kankakee Airport
Jim’s FBO, located near the approach end of runway 4, is easy to get to by landing on the 6,000-foot hard surface runway or the parallel 1,400-foot grass runway where The Ultralight Place holds its annual fly-in each year in conjunction with EAA Chapter 1159. The 2010 fly-in will be held July 9 to 11. Camping is available, and Jim says, “Our world famous chef will again be preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
